We are currently planning Classes for 2016.

Copic Certification

A theory based class covering Product Basics, The Copic Colour Wheel, Basic Blending Techniques, Using the Blender Pen, Palette Blending, Tip to Tip Blending, Feather Blending, and Using the Airbrush. This Class is 70% theory and 30% colouring.

European Copic Colouring Classes:

To meet the demand for special Copic Colouring Classes, a group of European Regional Copic Instructors developed the European Copic Colouring Program, which contains a whole range of Copic classes. Each class covers different techniques and will run for 3 hours.

The ECCP consists of 3 levels: Basic, Advanced and Special Techniques. Five different classes are offered. The participants will be provided with technique and practise sheet, but are required to bring their own Markers. 

 After attending the Basics, the Advanced Class and the Special Techniques 1 and 2, Copic users can sign up for the Certification Class for European Copic Colouring Master. (See special information below).

Basic Class

Intended for anyone who wants to learn about Copic products and basic colouring techniques. We advise everybody, even good Colourists to take this class. As someone who is largely self taught, I (Faye) found this class really useful.

Special Colouring Techniques 1 Class

 Intended for experienced Copic Users, Certified Copic Designers and past participants of our Basic and Advanced Classes, who want to work on specific techniques. Past participation in our Basic and Advanced Classes is required.

Special Colouring Techniques 3 Airbrushing with Copics Class

Intended for people who are considering buying an Air Brush System and/ or Compressor, or already have one. And for Stampers, who want to find out more about the artistic ways of using Copics. No colouring experience required.

Explanation of the use and possibilities of the Airbrush System 
Several Airbrushing Techniques, using Masks and Templates on different surfaces
Artistic Copic Techniques with the use of Blender and Refills. We will use artistic stamps (no cuties here!)

European Copic Colouring Master (in Paper Crafting) Certification

After having followed the Basic, Advanced, and Special Colouring Technique 1 and 2 Classes, you can sign up for the Master Class/ Exam. After passing a review of your colouring abilities, you will be certified as European Copic Colouring Master (in Paper Crafting).

 Prerequisites
You have followed the 4 classes mentioned above

When you sign up for the Master Class/ Exam, you will receive 9 Assignments to colour at home. This work will be part of your Work Portfolio, please take it with you to the Master Class/ Exam. 

In the first hour of the Class, you can ask questions about colouring, or practice. In the remaining 2 hours you will colour further Assignments using Techniques indicated to you. 

Your work will be evaluated by the Administering Instructor and 2 Independent Instructors. You will receive results as soon as possible, this takes around two months. If positive, the Certificate will be sent to you, If negative, the Instructor will advise you how to improve. You can send the improved work to the Instructor for a second review, or if necessary come to an new Exam.
